The
Warming Hut was the building's original name. Located at 1996 Chief Trail,
it is also known as the Ski Lodge.
The building was used to supply refreshments and restrooms
for the use of skiers when Indian Mountain had a ski lift and sufficient
snow for downhill skiing. When the ski lift was dismantled the
Hut was closed. The structure is now the Office and Meeting Facility
of Indian Mountain Recreation and Parks District.
The building was recently renovated with new decking
and ramps and is now ADA compliant.
