Recreation HallLocated off Albino Road near the golf course and burn pit, this building is intended as a general gathering place for local events. It is not presently in use because of deferred maintenance items. The current board is pursuing the construction of a new community center. Click here for an update.

A few years ago the building was approved for painting during the summer but the work was delayed till fall. The reason for the delay was swallows had built nests all along the eves on the North side. Though the swallows are not an endangered species their nesting places are protected by the Migratory Bird Protection Act as long as the baby birds are in residence. Once the baby birds have flown, the nests could be removed.  The District waited until the nests were abandoned before removing them in order to paint the building. The building required immediate painting to save the wood surface from wood rot.
