IMRPD envisions a community where the parklands, recreation
facilities and financial assets are managed wisely, lawfully, and sustainably
so that that current and future property owners benefit from the naturalness,
beauty, and tranquility found in the Indian Mountain subdivision. This
vision is based on the foundation set forth in the 1975 Service Plan
for the District:
"Today, there is a recognized need for parks and
open space within our residential areas. Past experience has shown us
the results of failing to provide mankind with adequate open space in
which to relax and seek recreational experiences."
