COMFORT STATION
The Comfort Station is located in Indian Mountain Park on Chief Trail. Showers and toilet facilities are inside. Both men's and women's facilities are provided as well as a handicapped facility. There is also a telephone that will allow local calls, but requires a credit card to make long distance calls. Please see the Comfort Station Rules below. Respect the rules so that all Indian Mountain property owners can enjoy the use of this facility. If you wish to contact the office regarding either a card key or a metal key, the office is open on Saturdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The New Card Key System
The Comfort Station will be switched to the new card key system on June 30th. Card Keys that have been paid for will go into the mail as soon as possible after June 23rd. If you are a property owner and have not sent in your check for one of the new card keys you will be able to purchase one between 9 - 12:30 am on June 30th. at 1996 Chief Trail at the IMR&PD Office (The Hut). After June 30, 2007 the office will be open every Saturday morning between 9 -1 pm with electronic card keys or metal keys available.
There will be a two week grace period after installation on June 30, to allow time for metal key holders to obtain a card key to the system.

Or, you can come by the Office on Chief Trail on a Saturday morining between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm and get a key with the property documentation.
The electronic keys system will allow one key per property. You must be a property owner to have an electronic key. Your electronic key will be coded to your name. Every time that you use your key a record will be made in the system. IMR&PD will know how many people have used the Comfort Station during a given period of time and who has gained access to the building during a particular period of time. This should help eliminate abuses that have occurred at the facility.
The new system will help insure that only Indian Mountain property owners have access to the building. If a person with an electronic key who is not a property owner is found using the facility, access by that particular key will be terminated. Access by any given electronic key can readily be stopped. Property owners need to carry identification when using the facilities. Names will be checked against a property owners list for verification.
If you lose your electronic card key please notify the Office. Access by your old key will be terminated. You can purchase a new key for $ 5.00 using one of the methods listed above.
The Metal Key System
Only Indian Mountain property owners can obtain a key. A $ 10.00 key deposit is required. To obtain a metal key please come to the office on a Saturday morning or mail $ 12.00 along with proof of ownership of Indian Mountain property to:

The metal key is used to access the sporting supplies in the metal box in Indian Mountain Park and at the RV Dump site.
COMFORT STATION RULES
The rules for using the Comfort Station are simple.
You must be a PROPERTY OWNER (or be accompanied by a property owner) to use the facility.
The facility is to be used for showers (for people only - no pet bathing is permitted), restrooms, and lavatories.
Potable water is available for campers and RVs for property owners only from an outside hydrant as long as water use within the facility is within limits that will not allow the facility to exceed 1/3 acre foot per year. If water use approaches the maximum allowed, use of the outside hydrant will be cut off.
A telephone is provided within the building. You can make a local call, but a long distance call will require use of a credit card.
Carry identification when using the facilities. A pass or hanging card is not required, but you can be asked for identification at any time you are on IMR&PD property. You identification will be checked against a property owners list.
Please clean up after yourself when you leave.
Please do not:
Bath your pets in the facility.
Leave your trash in the facility.
Clean up construction tools or other equipment in the facility.
Provide your key to others, including the construction crew that is building your cabin. (Park County Regulations require that a temporary portable restroom be provided at each construction site.)
